Baby Sitters

There aren't many child minders who occasionally watch children in Mumbai, most likely because Indians prefer to utilise nannies or members of their extended families for childcare.
Families with expat members typically have nannies to help with the kids and full-time household help. Expats can ask their nannies to put in a few more hours to watch the kids on the weekends or in the evenings.
There are currently no reliable childcare services in Mumbai. Although some Indian women advertise online that they babysit, as they are not affiliated with any businesses, this may not be the best course of action.
Ask your friends if their nannies would be available to babysit for a few hours if you don't have a nanny or if your nanny is unable to work when you need her. The benefit of doing this is that you will know from your friend's experience that the sitter can be trusted. You might also inquire about babysitters from the maids and nannies of other expats. When you inquire a few days in advance, you might be able to discover a suitable sitter because word of open work spreads quickly.
If everything else fails, consider announcing your need for a babysitter on message boards at clubs you are a member of or online. Jobs wanted and needed are posted on a website called Locanto.
Make sure you have contacted recommendations before hiring a sitter. Before making a selection, if at all possible, request that the babysitter visit your house to see the kid(s) in person.
When compared to Western standards, babysitting wages for expat families are roughly Rs 100 per hour. When the babysitter is scheduled to leave your house late at night, she can want a cab fare or to be dropped off close to her house or train station after her shift.
